Alan Radford, who co-ordinates the CPD programmes at Liverpool vet school, talks to David Watson about its importance, and answers the question ‘What makes good CPD?’

He reviews the traditional concept of ‘distance learning’ and stresses the vital role that online modules now play in the Leahurst portfolio of external courses and for which he anticipates much greater demand in the future.
